I wanted to share a picture or two of the new Anemoi mitts that I have been working on, but it turns out that when I don’t get enough sleep, I also lose all ability to take any photographs whatsoever. But, since I can’t talk about the mitts without at least showing you something, I am going to show you the photos. Please don’t heckle too loudly…

See what I mean? Not great, but at least the colors are fairly true to life. I am really digging these mittens! I am using Louet Gems (my new favorite yarn for this type of project) and they knit up fairly smoothly (once I jogged my brain into remembering how to do fair isle).
I do believe that they are going to fit like a dream. I can already tell. I am planning to make one more pair after these with a lighter background color. I think I prefer them lighter, but these will be my dressy back to work mitts and they must match my burgundy scarf and black coat.
I am still working to finish a number of other projects still hanging onto my needles, but these have taken priority for the moment. Hopefully I can stick with them and get them off the needles in record time…
Those look great! What size needles are they worked on? Are they worth the pattern purchase??
I am digging them, but I have to admit, not as much as the Endpaper Mitts. These are worked on size 1.5 (US) needles and size 0 (US) for the cuffs. I would say they are worth the pattern purchase if you want a pair of full size mitts worked in fair isle.
These are beautiful!! I will be green with envy at your patience when you wear them!
